Pablo Hernandez, MD, MHCM, FAAFP is a seasoned community health center clinician. A graduate of Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola, Caracas, Venezuela, he earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Jose Vargas School of Medicine. Dr. Hernandez completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut, and also earned a Master of Science in Health Care Management from Harvard School of Public Health, Cambridge, MA.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Hernandez joined the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in 2016 bringing with him a hands-on approach to medical leadership, believing that a strong team is the key to a successful organization. His goal is to continue to provide excellent and compassionate primary healthcare as a Family Physician and use his educational and past experience to help the organization transition to the new care models of the 21st century. His personal healthcare goal: EXCELSIOR!
Dr. Hernandez’s past professional experiences include serving as the VP of Medical Services and Medical Director for the South End Community Health Center, Senior Medical Director for Boston Medical Center Health Net Plan, an instructor of medical terminology for Central Mass AHEC, and a faculty physician at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
